Based in Faringdon, Oxfordshire, The Pump House Project is totally unique local Community Charity running a weekly timetable of varied activities, groups, events and clubs for the whole community. We regularly run one-off fundraisers and events which enables us to raise much-needed revenue to maintain our regular activities. Our aim is to provide a variety of low-cost activities for all ages and abilities in Faringdon and the surrounding areas.

Established in 2013 and based in Faringon's refurbished Old Theatre in the heart of the town centre we have become a hub to the ever-growing population of Faringdon. We are a completely self-funding organisation which is recognised and supported by businesses and individuals alike.

An average of 500 people use the facility every week, attending our many different groups and activities.

We are seeking volunteers for regular and occasional times. If you have an hour or two on Wednesday to serve cake and coffee (term time only), are handy with a hammer and have some time to do some odd jobs for us or if you have the odd evening/afternoon free and would like to help us at our fundraising events (setting up/serving/pouring drinks/selling – cloud be anything!) then please do get in touch.

Drop by and have a look around, join up to a class or become one of our essential volunteers. Contact us on Facebook ‘The Pump House Project’ or via email here. We are looking forward to hearing from you – after all, a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet!
