Be Free Young Carers

 

- Charity supporting the lives and wellbeing of young carers in Oxfordshire

- working across Oxfordshire

- They need befriending volunteers to spend 1:1 time with young carers once a week or volunteers to support their summer day trips out. (Full training is provided and criminal record check and references will be required.)

- Commitment required: from 1-2 hours, once per week

Jacari's logo

Jacari

 

Charity providing free, 1:1 tutoring for disadvantaged migrant, asylum-seeking, and refugee children aged 6-16 who have English as an Additional Language (EAL) and are struggling at school.

- Jacari support pupils in Oxford City

They need volunteers who can tutor children once a week during school term time. Full training is provided so no prior experience is necessary (criminal record check and references will be required).

- Commitment required: from 1-2 hours, once a week

Restore

 

Mental Health charity providing activities, community and support to people in recovery from mental illness. They offer recovery groups, training and employment coaching.

Based in Oxford City, Didcot and Banbury

- Volunteers support activities, beneficiaries and operations of the charity.

- Commitment required: flexible, there are so many ways you can help!
